Week 10 - March 30 -- Identity and Community
Social uses of the net affect family, friendships, work, and
education. Many groups that form online, also meet face to face.
Many groups utilize multiple platforms for communication. An irc
channel may have a home page and an email list. How do people
utilize different mediums of communication to form group identity?
How do notions the of "virtual reality" (VR) and "real life" (RL) or
"real world" (RW) interact and inform each other?
